Give up a Meal for the Needy

We extend our love and prayers for our fellow Filipinos who continue to struggle and who try to rise up from the recent calamity that claimed lives and properties of many. We trust that with God's mercy, we will all be able to see the sun again and embrace life at its brightest.

We thank F.A.R.M.ers who, in their own humble ways, try to reach out to those needing help. This is a season for unity and compassion. Give up a hearty meal to help the needy. Give to the nearest relief center. We can do it.

F.A.R.M. is ON the Runway!

F.A.R.M. is neophyte no more. It's now officially on the runway!

The Department of Trade and Industry in collaboration with ABS-CBN, held the One-Town-One Product (OTOP) Flair & Fashion on 24 September 2009 at Villa Caceres Hotel, Naga City. The by-invitation-only affair showcased the best products of the Bicol region.

Emcees Jay Percival Ablan (a Baaoeno) and partner Analyn both wore F.A.R.M. accessories

Rommel del Valle's (a fashion designer also from Baao) and Bernadette de los Santos' exquisite creations were chosen by the DTI to be the main products to endorse in the OTOP congress. Both Rommel and Bernadette create world-class clothing line and accessories, respectively.

Cocktail dresses made mostly of dried water lily stalks and mother of pearl buttons dominated the runway.

These chic creations were perfectly accentuated by the newly-launched F.A.R.M. necklace-and -bracelet ensembles.

Rommel understands a woman's body and creates only the loveliest clothing that befits her. F.A.R.M. lets out all her hidden beauty. And perfects her.

And they understand and perfect men, too.

Every woman would readily say "I do" with these magnificent wedding gowns with bodice made out of dried water lily, and F.A.R.M.'s shelley pieces hugging the necklines.

The gowns and accessories absolutely and positively got nothing out of the ordinary.

Murmurs of curiosity and admiration filled the air.

Rommel and partner Alex proved that Baao and the Bicol region have a really promising future in the fashion industry.

And F.A.R.M. with its totally unique character, has consistently showed that vintage button accessories aren't a 'blast from the past' fashion but are trendy enough to be worn by a fashion model.

Rommel, Bidibidi, Alex and show director Ping Federis

Standing ovation, please?!

F.A.R.M.er of Substance (2)

We say that F.A.R.M. touches lives. For F.A.R.M.er Sarah Barrameda-Balares, that's a clear understatement.

F.A.R.M. has its mission - not just to touch lives but to make people rise above themselves, get empowered, feel self-worth, share tirelessly, and see goodness and beauty in others.

Being one among those who started the F.A.R.M. advocacy, Sarah has accomplished quite a lot. She didn't only sell tons but also encouraged many rural women to engage and earn as well.

She is one of the reasons F.A.R.M. is making good business. Her dedication and stamina are just incredible.

We recognize and value F.A.R.M.ers with real substance. Thank you Sarah from that purple-colored pumping button of our hearts :=)

I have two F.A.R.M.s!

This is so cute. Read and sing aloud (to the tune of "I have 2 hands"):

"I have two F.A.R.M.s, both on my right. Hold them upright so blue and bright.
Count them proudly, there you'll see.
Two great F.A.R.M.s are not for free!"

Composed by F.A.R.M.er Monette's son, Dan Jacob (5 years old).

Thank you sweet DJ for our new F.A.R.M. jingle!
