F.A.R.M. Goes for the Climb!

F.A.R.M.ers and green advocates Atty. Tom Ballesteros, Louella Ballesteros and Bernadette de los Santos sponsored the 5th Annual Sangat Festival on August 21, 2009.

The Sangat Festival is an annual environment campaign that aims to showcase to participating mountain bikers from all over the country the rich and lush landscape of Baao, Camarines Sur. This year's route covered not only the Barangay Antipolo ridges but also the rice farms of Barangays Sta. Eulalia and Sagrada.

The winners and other participating racers were given cash prizes.

F.A.R.M. will continue to support activities that promote its many advocacies. By supporting the Sangat Festival, F.A.R.M. has promoted environmental awareness and encouraged community involvement and participation.

The Sangat festival was one of the many F.A.RM. activities in August. There's really no stopping F.A.R.M. Watch out for more events. We will continue keep you updated.

We spotted F.A.R.M.er Sandra Sanchez relaxing in this enchanting island in Mauritius!

Mauritius will enchant you, will uplift your soul, making you feel that you belong to the chosen few.

Sandra is indeed one of the chosen few - she's gone to Mauritius; she is beautiful; and she is a F.A.R.M.er!

F.A.R.M. goes further and farther when it travels marvelous places with incredibly gorgeous people!

Thanks Sandra and continue flying with F.A.R.M. on you!

Kansas City makes a cool change!

The other day, F.A.R.M.er Mariflor Llorens-Taduran discreetly informed us that she's able to raise $200 from family and friends for Buttons to Hope. That's equivalent to one semester for one Baaoeno scholar.

You see, F.A.R.M.'s giving you fashion in a different sense. By getting a precious piece for a few dollars, you are making a big difference...

You are giving other people hope...

You are giving us more pride, inspiration and commitment to work further.

With F.A.R.M., you are beautiful inside and out!

It's time for a cool change!

Thank you Kansas City from the button of our hearts!

Let's send Baao's youth to school. Let's support Buttons to Hope!

We've almost completed three full months since the Buttons to Hope project was launched on June 1. The amount that we've raised so far is still a tiny part of the 1 million goal. But the good news is, the objectives behind Buttons to Hope continue to touch people's hearts and inspire them to help.

As of today, Buttons to Hope has raised P18,155.00 from the various small fundraising activities conducted the past three months. Plus $450.00 expected remittance from F.A.R.M.ers overseas. We now roughly have P40,000 after summing up those amounts ($1=P47.50). That translates to sending 1 scholar to 3-4 semesters in vocational school. That amount that we raised in three months can bring hope to a deserving student from Baao. And happiness and comfort to her family.

The activities this month and the coming months will hopefully raise more funds for this worthy cause.

To those interested to donate or remit collections from fund-raising activities, please email us at farmbaao@gmail.com so we can send you our account details. The bank account is under the name of Adrian Luzentales or Jezrille Arroyo and that is the ONLY account that receives donations for Buttons to Hope. You may also tell us your story and we will be more than pleased to feature your generous efforts in helping F.A.R.M. and Buttons to Hope.

To learn more about the history of the project and past fund-raising activities, you may type "Buttons to Hope" in the search bar of the F.A.R.M. blog, or click "Buttons to Hope" under labels.
Thank you F.A.R.M.ers for your love and support.

One F.A.R.M. Diva

Terrie de los Santos-Salah gets an A+++ not only for overperforming her sister-role to Bidibidi but also for excelling as a F.A.R.M.er!

Her love of and dedication for F.A.R.M. has been tremendous. She gave out and sold loads of bracelets to promote F.A.R.M. to Americans and Filipinos in the US. She defends F.A.R.M. by all means and talks about it in any place and any time possible.

Terrie also couriered a box of goodies for auction and offered to send more to raise funds for Buttons to Hope. And to top that, she has so far piggy-banked $250.00, from F.A.R.M. sales, for Buttons to Hope! An amount enough to send one scholar to two semesters in vocational school!

All these and your exquisite F.A.R.M. photographs make you one helluva F.A.R.M. DIVA! Thank you!

F.A.R.M.ers Around America

This is a unique and exciting photo gallery of F.A.R.M.ers overseas.

We've never before seen so many Baaoenos together in a single place, feasting on good food, sipping wine and wearing F.A.R.M.!

Unprecedented.

Even the young ones like it!

"The idea is innovative, unique, and cool," says one.

"What is a few dollars for a wonderful accessory?" F.A.R.M. simply fits everyone.

Beautiful people. Kind hearts.

Oh, and handsome people with generous hearts, too!

While not everybody was into it, still F.A.R.M. easily pleased many.

We're thrilled with how many love to help Buttons to Hope. Buying a few pieces means a lot.

Thanks Terrie for showing us these awesome photos.

Thanks to F.A.R.M. we were able to meet our kababayans living away from home.

We promise your little help would send a few of your fellow Baaoenos to school.

Each one got the winning F.A.R.M. pose. And you won our hearts, too! Thank you, Las Vegas!
